§ 30.17. DUTIES AND SCOPE OF AUTHORITY OF CITY MANAGER.

  • (A) The Office of Manager shall manage, maintain, and operate the following departments:
    (1) Electric;
    (2) Water;
    (3) Sewer;
    (4) Garbage Disposal;
    (5) Street; and
    (6) Parks and Recreation.
    (B) The Manager shall be vested with the authority to employ and discharge all employees in the respective departments. The duties of the Manager shall be to maintain, operate, and supervise all the departments as numerated and set out above, and be responsible for all the equipment and material of the city and the City Utility Department.
